Eighteen years building systems that have to work.
I'm a Principal Software Engineer with eighteen years of experience building production systems — real-time transaction processing platforms, distributed data pipelines, integration-heavy backends, and the compliance infrastructure that regulated industries require.
Most of my career has been at the intersection of high-stakes reliability and strict regulatory requirements: systems processing tens of millions of events daily, where correctness and auditability aren't optional. I've led architecture across Node.js, TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, AWS, and Kafka, and I've spent years on the vendor integration and certification work that typically derails engineering teams that underestimate it.
I started Meticulite because I kept seeing the same pattern: growth-stage companies with real traction making expensive technical decisions without a senior engineering voice in the room. Not because they didn't value it — because they couldn't justify a full-time CTO hire yet. A fractional engagement fills that gap without the overhead of a full-time executive.
The work I find most valuable is the kind that compounds: clear architecture that survives team growth, compliance groundwork that unlocks new markets, hiring decisions that change the trajectory of a team. I'm drawn to the technical problems that sit at the boundary of engineering and business — the ones where getting the architecture right is indistinguishable from getting the strategy right.
I'm based in [Location]. I work remotely with teams across time zones.
